Battery help

I have a few intova 3w led torches, I wanna use rechargeable cr123 batteries for them, but am completely confused.

What is the max voltage that the torch can handle.

There are some batteries 3.7v 1300mah and then some with 3v 800mah

Please help

Rechargeable batteries will degrade the torch performance and the voltage fluctuations can ruin the PC Board, especially 3.7v models. We strongly recommend against them.

I understand....thank you......wish intova would make rechargeable batteries for their torches, cause if a dive op is using even 4 torches a day, thats a lot of batteries to dispose of in an environmentally safe way, in some very remote areas like the Andaman Islands....beautiful torches though...love em...

The CR123 Lithium batteries provide the best overall performance and costing. With a 10 hour burn time they also give a lot of time in the water. That being said, we now have AA and AAA models that will work with rechargeable batteries and more in the pipeline. We are working hard to develop a range of high quality lights to fit the needs of a diverse group of users.
