beach dive update

on Tuesday i did a Short test dive to see if my full 3/2 with a shorty and hood would keep me warm it did but it the water was only 60 degrees:huh: the gulf was a bit rough so i whent to the bay on okaloosa Island and dove the sunken sailboat there vis was only about 10 feet so my pole spear didn't get to see much took some pic of some kite-boarders there

in the water lol sry had to and its only in 14 feet of water at that its on okaloosa Island as you pass the last buildings on your left at a park don't know the name the docks are fenced off but can get in to them in the water going to do it next time

I think he's talking about the beach right on the north side of the island on the Ft Walton side, belive its a state beach. The sailboats real shallow, masts still sticking above the water. I keep meaning to go dive it, but never do. Its been there for a while, 2 yrs or so, it was there when I moved here. Looks like kind of a small boat from its mast.

Where exactly is this in relation to the fishing pier? I hate to ask but I'd end up driving around for 2hrs trying to find it lol. Also is this the same sailboat that is mentioned on the other thread, cause I seem to remember something about it being rather new, like 2-3months old.

Different boat, this one being talked about in this thread is on the bay side. I'm curious as well.

at the boat ramp at the fort walton beach park i don't think thats the name of of the park but it show that way on map quest if you need more help let me know and ill do mileage turn by turn next time I'm there
