Hello out there,

my wife and i are looking for some information on dive sights in Belize and more importantly about a resort called "Blackbird Resort". We are considering a trip there and will be going in the first half of April.

Hi Darren,

I suspect your wife is looking for info on "Blackbird Caye Resort" http://www.blackbirdresort.com/.

As it's 30 plus miles from mainland Belize, on the east side of Turneffe, the only dive sites you need to know about are the ones typically dove by their boats.

These include Blackbird Reef right out front (can shore dive & snorkel), as well as Blackbird Cut, Calabash Cut, The Blue Hole (definitely the trip one time), and Halfmoon Caye (my personal favorite).
