Just returned from a trip to Bermuda where I participated in a 2 tank dive with FantaSea in Hamilton. Captain Guy and DM Steve took us to a couple of great spots. First, a sunken ferry, second a doughnut shaped reef called the Blue Hole. Entry into the Blue Hole was through a tunnel filled with shimmering fry.
The reefs were incredible and the operation was very efficient.
Great job, FantaSea!

Thank you for the information.
I'll be on a cruise to Bermuda (Holland America Line) Aug. 17-20) Looking for
reliable dive operators.

That's actually great! My friend had actually experienced scuba diving in one of the islands in Caribbean. If I'm not mistaken it was the island of Antigua. Me and my aunt are actually planning for a holiday in one of the Caribbean islands and scuba diving would be one of the activities we will surely experience.

Glad you had a great dive.
This shoulds like a new dive shop/chater.
Did you take a cruise or hotel?
I booked my 2tank dive through the cruise ship (forgotten the name
of the dive company-but was on a Holland America Cruise). The dive
problem with the few dive shops that I contacted was that you had to
take a cab (expensive) or a bus (time consuming) early in the morning to
get to their locations.
Thanks for the info.
I love Bermuda. Have done some of the best snorkeling ever there.
On this same trip, last year, I went to Clearwater Beach near the airport in
Hamilton and Church Bay in Southampton Parish for snorkeling. Church Bay
was amazing.

FantaSea is a dive shop within walking distance from our position in Hamilton. I scheduled the dive from the Holland America ship. The Dive Master met us at the security checkpoint and escorted us to the diveboat directly in front of our cruise ship, so make sure you're ready to go when you leave the cruise ship. Visibiltiy at the time of our dive was easily over 50 feet of beautiful blue warm water. Enjoy.

Every dive I make, I feel like the luckiest guy in the world. Though, my dive in Bermuda was indeed a special experience.:D I conducted a couple of dives in the Puget Sound and was similarly enthralled by the jellies swimming through the clear dark water. Diving with the abalone (not picking them) in the cold green water off the California coast is equally enchanting. It was nice to dive without a suit though.

I haven't dove BDA for years now but would really like to get back. It's on the short list for next year.
