What's the best light at the moment that takes 4 x AA cells?
I've been using my UK SL4 eLED with rechargeable Eneloop AA batteries in C-cell adapter, which works very well, makes it nice and lightweight, and costs 'nothing' to run, but it's quite a handful for what it is... especially nowadays with the even more powerful LEDs out there! The C sized cells would give great capacity/burn time, but that far, far exceeds any dive time... So running with the 4 AA cells works well, giving me at least 4 night dives before i recharge... even with a few days/weeks between night dives.
So i'd like a good bright light that would take my 4 AA Eneloops, and last say 2 night dives as a minimum... Variable output would obviously be great too!
