What is the best way to cut a small hole in compressed neoprene for a DIY p-valve? I plan on using the airspeed press version

I would use a soldering iron

and you just burn a small hole in the suit?

Yep..

The other very good way to get a clean hole is to punch it. A 9mm or .45 cal casing (the spent part of a handgun round) makes the perfect sized hole. Put a block of wood on the inside for a good backing and the give the empty cartridge a good whack with a hammer and you will get a clean cut. I just hit up my redneck buddies...they're always willing to spare a cartridge casing for me when I need one.

What diameter are you looking to cut. I have to make one today for a Halcyon pee valve for my CF200 suit. It will be .725 dia. If it's the size you need it's yours when I'm done with it.
