Much better conditions at Golf Ball Reef this morning. Fifteen feet visibility with no surge. Schools of baitfish and Senoritas swirled around the reef while I crawled around the rocks. A Felimare californiensis was in the same spot that we've seen it for a year. A two-spot octopus less than two feet away stuck its head out of its den for the entire seventy minutes I was down there.
I found a small abalone crawling around. I couldn't resist taking an upward angle shot to see its eyes.
