Heading out to Kona, looking forward to the manta ray night dive

Looking to upgrade light.

I found the BIG BLUE TL3800P, at a decent price

Has anyone used this light? thoughts?

I have seen mixed reviews for Big Blue however they have served me well thus far.

I've done the manta ray dive twice and it was a great experience both times.

Note that your operator is probably going to be giving you a can light to hold, as it is lights that they place in the center of the group and that each diver holds that attract the plankton, that attracts the rays.

You should obviously bring your own light(s) as you would on any night dive, but you can save the extra expense unless you have other needs for a bigger light.

May want to check with your operator first.

Enjoy your trip!
