How long do these trips tend to last? I realize conditions vary, as you may be hitting 'unnamed sites,' but roughly how does the diving compare to your Channel Islands trips? I get that it's different; just wondering how people might choose between the 2 types of trip.

Richard.

Hi Richard,

We have several Big Sur trips during the month of June, from a single-day to a 4-day dive. Big Sur is an extremely beautiful region of the central coast of California and liveaboard dive opportunities are very limited. We travel to the region just once a year and weather conditions can vary a lot, from rough sea to very calm waters. It's mostly coastal diving and not many weather protected areas. For those reasons it's an almost untouched scuba diving region. We don't have a fixed itinerary and every year we find new dive spots.

We all agree that it's an unique experience in all aspects of the trip and definitely one of the most exclusive. If you're an adventurous diver that's a trip you can't miss!

Cheers!
