I saw a documentary on the bikini atoll and would loved to have a dive there! Is it safe to dive there? Any radioactive materials left? How do you get there?

I just ran a trip of folks in October to Bikini and used Central Pacific Dive Expeditions out of CA - Layne Ballard (Cpde@aol.com). One thing I have to say, Layne was the easiest agent to deal with that I have ever worked with, and I've run a bunch of trips to all sorts of locations all around the world. So that says a lot!!

It's great diving. If you are a fanatical wreck diver - do 2 weeks at least. I did only one and I'm still kicking myself! Duh..
