Bio-filter regulator air moisturizer

Has anyone used one of these bio-filter regulator air moisturizers? If so does it work?

I've used one for the past 3 or so months.

It was reccommended to me because I had rather horrible dry-mouth after 30 or so mins on a dive.

I must say - it does work for me. You must be dilligent on not over or under filling the sponge and it must be filled before every dive or it won't work (at least that's my experience with it).
