Below is the link for an article in the Cayman Compass about Blossom Village Little Cayman in 1974 when only 25 people lived on the island. I'll bet that the reefs were beautiful and pristine beyond belief back then - and the mosquitos must have been ferocious in the non- air-conditioned conditions.

The writer of the article is George Nowak and some of you may know him better by his stage name of The Barefoot Man. We enjoy his funny and irreverent shows whenever we get a chance to see him on Grand Cayman.
