Blue Grotto or Devil's Den Saturday, Feb 28th?

Is anyone planning on diving at Blue Grotto or Devil's Den this Saturday that could use a buddy or wouldn't mind me tagging along? My wife and I are going up to Crystal River to swim with the manatees, and I wanted to get a taste of springs diving. My wife doesn't dive, so it would be just me.

Jim,I have been to both and plan on going back to both later this year. With a non diving spouse I would advise going to Blue Grotto. Main reason is that Devil's Den is all underground. you have to walk down steep steps cut out of the rock to get down to the walk. She will stuck top side and have no idea what is going on. The Blue Grotto has a nice big deck near the surface. Check them out on the internet. Also both are use extensively for open water classes. Watch the video for Blue Grotto. They have a nice cavern type circuit that has a permanent guide line attached. you might enjoy it.
