I told them I wanted 100CF tanks but wanted them filled to capacity both told me the local company that fills tanks will not fill AL100s with more than 3000CF of air.
I'd love to get 3000CF from an AL100! :D

Jeez. That would be alot of air wouldn't it? I could stay down over TWO DAYS!!!! I would have to get margarita service though....
 
So does that mean that al 80's filled to 3000 are also less than 80 cf?

I'm not sure if this is a serious question, the answer is because air does not behave as an ideal gas (remember PV=nRT), an AL80 holds 77 ft^3 at 3000 psi. Close but no cigar.
