I have always used some good hard bottom boots like the SeaSoft Sunrays.

They are currently unavailable.

Any other good recommendations for a good boot for Bonaire?

Looking forward to returning in Oct been a few years.

I have been using the Seasoft Ti Stealth boots for shore diving in Bonaire, Curacao, Cayman Brac, and Grand Cayman for 15 years with no issues. Even though they are twice as thick (6mm vs 3mm) compared to the Seasoft Sunrays, I never have felt that they were too warm. Just have to make sure that your fin pocket can accomdate the thicker boot.

I use a very thin-soled neoprene boot and then I wear (size 12) DUI rock boots over that and they fit nicely inside XXL jet fins.
