I liked Voyage of the Frog as well. Set in Ventura in Socal. Great adventure story.

For me, more recent books include
America's Ocean Wilderness--Gary Kroll
Blue Frontier--David Helvarg

The Sea Around Us by Rachel Carson
Sea Change by Sylvia Earle

These two books have changed my life when thinking about our oceans and the health of them and how they interact with life on earth. Great reads!

If I held a gun to your head and tell you to choose one, which one would it be?

If I held a gun to your head and tell you to choose one, which one would it be?

You must be real popular at the local library. :D

Also, if anyone is looking for a medical-style kind of read, check out:

Scuba Diving Explained: Q&A on Physiology and Medical Aspects by Lawrence Martin, M.D.

It's really cool how they explain middle ear squeeze and things that are affecting your body during a dive!

I am fond of Harry Potter series. Apart from that I enjoyed Hearts & Minds by Amanda Craig and The Angel's Game by Carlos Ruiz Zafon.

I can only choose ONE???? UUGGHHHHHH!

Well then, Of the ones I selected from this list, it would have to be .....

Timothy of the Cay

It's not a diving book, but it is an excellent book with a maritime theme. It's young adult literature. I teach, so it's one of my recommended readings for my students.
