I attended the Boston Sea Rovers conference this past weekend. Terry Maas gave a couple of presentations, one on shallow water blackout (including a discussion on a safety vest that is in development to reduce the risk of death) and another on highlights from his spearfishing program. Sheri Daye, world record holder for yellowfin tuna, was also presenting with him. They showed footage of her spearing a lot of fish. David Sipperly was there as well. The SWB discussion was really interesting, as was the early look at this vest. I don't freedive or spearfish but have always had an interest. It was a really neat presentation.

I heard the spearfishing presentation was good, and wish I could have attended too.

I have seen much of the videos, and a lot can still be viewed on "Speargun Hunter" on the Outdoor Channel the next three Mondays at 6:30 and 11:30 pm, EST. http://outdoorchannel.com/showinfo.cfm?site=1&PageName=ShowDesc&ShowID=654

Sheri can really shoot and she'll be in the last show taped in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

Terry Maas is the principal cameraman, but it's not his program.

Robin Berg created and produced Speargun Hunter. http://www.beiproductions.com/home.htm He also shoots a lot of the second camera scenes and narrates the shows.
