decided to part ways with some equipment I haven’t used nor foresee using much in the near future.
- Dive Rite SS XT Lite backplate (2.9 lb per DGX website)
- Zeagle 44lb wing (dual lower dump valves) includes Zeagle BX inflator
- OMS harness (L/Xl) with 1.5” crotch strap
- Dive Rite SS can bands
The plate and harness were purchased with the intention of using as a light weight travel rig. The wing includes the “hold down” clips to help prevent any unwanted tacoing.
Also included are (2) XS scuba weight pockets (can be used on cam bands or waist belt depending on your negative buoyancy needs) and a Storm Whistle.
The only thing to add is that the shoulder straps are not 1 piece of webbing. I cut them to make each side independent, if you desire a single section it is easily replaced with webbing of your choice. The harness sizing only affects the shoulder pads. They could be removed and the sizing would have no bearing. I am a bigger guy 6’3” and not very slender by any means so there is plenty of webbing for almost any body type.
