Bright Yellow Growth Growing/Killing Soft Coral

Hey
Diving in Sodwana in South Africa I noticed a bright yellow growth on soft coral.
In some places it was spots and in others it seems to have taken over the whole coral.
It seems to have killed what ever it was growing on.
Is anyone able to tell me what it is?
