I work with Discover Diving in Depew NY.
Most of our local diving is Lake Erie.
I don't know of any shore diving between there and Rochester.
Most of the lakeshore between here and there is shallow for a long ways out. Once my son and I did a shore dive and only maxed out at 18'. nothing to see but Fish and IRF's (interesting rock formations)

What Tavi said....no good shore diving here(Rochester) that I'm aware of. However Canadaguia Lake is always fun!

been and done canandaigua
can't stand deep run's surface swim
and find canandaigua's bottom boring
maybe with a scooter it'd be better
i was returning from erie and had some spare time to kill so was looking for something on the way back.
