I was looking at the state artificial reef guide and apparently there are two C-130's and a F-4 on Howard Chapin Reef (AR-330) near the USS Indras. Can anybody tell me what shape they are in? Is it worth going to see, or are they pretty much collapsed?

thanks,
Dave.

Looks like they were sunk/deployed in 1994. so they prob are still in decent shape

NCDMF AR330

C-130 aircraft: 2

15-Nov-94

34° 33.633' / 076° 51.367' and
34° 33.633' / 076° 51.383'

F-4 aircraft: 1

1995

34° 33.633' / 076° 51.350'

The C-130's broke up soon after they were sunk and a storm came through. It looked like a crash site as the pieces washed up beside the Indra. The F-4 is probably gone as well. The only thing that is probably left of the F-4 is the wings.

OK, thanks all!
