Hey,
I have just received my new C-5060 + PT020.
I am going to Sweden next weekend for diving, and would be glad to become some tips for setting my camera.
Do you have a "My setting" for diving in nordic oceans? (Bad visibility, dark green water...)
I have no externel flash, only a powerful torch.

Thanks in forward...

OK, if you don´t have settings for nordic sites, then give me some allround settings instead....

In this one book I have it suggests F stops for certain distances (using 64 ISO and a wide angle strobe) :
1' = f/22
2' = f/11
3' = f/8
4' = f/5.6
5' = f/4

The setting of the shutter speed would then depend on your light.
Gotta play around with it a bit.

Hope this helps,
Lisa

I use my C-5050 in local lakes with green water and low viz. I use manual white balance to control the green water. Open f/stops of 3.6,2.8 and even 1.8 work the best for me. Exposure times are generall between 1/80 and 1/125.

Sorry, but there's no exact formula for any condition. Start with these as guidelines only. Take a few pics and adjust settings on each up or down to get the results you want.

Ahoy there Dee,
How's the beast? Long time since we've communicated. Going to Coz 1st of November. Maybe going to Coco-View in May. Take care .

Good Viz,
George
