I think that the line, "Plastics, remember plastics." (or something like that) was in Good-bye, Columbus.

At any rate, I am a little late to this discussion, but here are my two centavos. Have you considered aluminum conduit? It is less bouyant than plastic, but stronger.

What I would consider is:

(1) Finding out how much you need by experimenting in the bath tub or pool or....

(2) Cutting it to length and filling it with foaming polyurethane--adds to strength and will help counteract leaks. However, this will diminish the bouyancy a bit.

(3) Capping the ends with standard fittings available at Home Depot, etc., but using silicone or epoxy to secure the seal. I am not sure how well epoxy will hold up at 130 ft in salt water, but silicone should do well.
