does anyone have some tips for the above set up? I seem to struggle a little bit, I have used the camera for about a year without a strobe now i have added the strobe I don't get the results I had hoped for. What settings do you guys use on the strobe? ttl slave manual???

In theory you should be able to use dsttl and manual (no pre flash) what's the issue you get?

i think i may have sussed it out, i tried ttl in auto and it worked fine also in program mode. In manual i put the strobe in manual 2 and all seemed to work fine. This was a dry run in a dark room but all seemed good. I haven't really used the strobe other than on night dives where it performed fine, i hadn't used it at depth during the day. I varied the light in the darkened room and seemed to get consistant results so I must be doing something right
