Not in my hands. On my 7D, it is difficult to see the difference in focus speed between the 60 and the 100 (it is the old 100, not the new one).

Yes, I was actually thinking about the 50mm macro. I've never used the 60mm macro. Oops.

The 50 is/was a real dog in terms of autofocus. The new 60 (EFS) is quite fast.
