After much thrashing about, I've decided against staying in a dive resort in Fiji (I couldn't find one that matched my comfort/location/price goals) and instead am renting a villa in the Rakiraki area.
So now a car (instead of an expensive inter-island plane flight, is needed). Other than the obvious Budget/Avis/Thrifty cast of characters, is there a local, less advertised car rental agency that will give me a more favorable rate?
