A few friends and I are going to spend the weekend at Casino Point in a few days. I was hoping someone was aware of a discount for Express tickets.

AAA Maybe?

My employer participates in the 'GreatPerks' and 'Beyond Work' programs, but it doesn't seem like there are any deals to be had that way :(

They do offer group discounts, but I'm not sure of the cut-off number. It may be higher than the number in your group.

Conditions were fairly good out here this weekend. I didn't dive but reports were 30-40 ft vis. Topside conditions were AWESOME. I love SoCal "winters" (especially after surviving two decades of them in Chicago).

I understand that they use to have a "commuter" package where you can buy 10 one way tickets in advance for something like $10.00 off each way. Don't know if they still do, but worth checking into.
Also, alot of the hotels offer "package" deals... check with them if you're staying over night.

The commuter books are only good for immediate family, only other condition on them is you have to show that you made a round trip to the island in the prior 30? 60? days in order to buy one. They do want a list of the names in the family and list them on the booklet. (and occasionally check ID after that)

As mentioned they have 10 one way tickets in the booklets. They are good for one year form the date of purchase.

Thank you very much for the information guys :D

Perhaps this can be added to the Catalina sticky?
