Any one done Cayman Brac in August?

I read somewhere you can run into the algae blooming.

This is a wedding anniversary trip and I sure want to have decent diving.

Thanks.

I have, but I didn't. I gather they may bloom either on a full-moon evening in August or on one in September, between 9 PM and midnight.

Anyway, the diving should be great in August - you don't really need a wetsuit at that time of year.
