I worded it slightly incorrectly, sorry. This is from the Travel Cayman website: (btw we just got back from cayman last week and our travel dec was good for 3 months.):

All travellers are required to apply on the Travel Cayman Portal and will be issued with a travel certificate which is required for entry.

Unvaccinated travellers are required to apply no less than 5 days prior to departing for the Islands.

Vaccinated travellers are required to apply no less than 72 hours prior to departing for the Islands
Thanks for the clarification. I found the Travel Cayman Portal to be a bit confusing at times with information spread out. The Ministry of Tourism people have been very responsive to questions.

We are looking forward to 10 days in Cayman the end of August. This will be our 14th visit there in 22 years and our first time back since August 2019. We are looking forward to diving with Sergio and crew at Don Fosters Dive Center. We did dive in Cozumel a few months ago where the entry process was not as restrictive as Cayman has been. Glad they are moving ahead.
