One week to go until Chamber Day 2024 and today’s a big day for the Challenge as we’ve got not one but TWO major donations to acknowledge as we make it past the $125,000 mark. Both of these contributions come in at the $5,000 Platinum level and they’re both long-time supporters of our Chamber.
First up is Galileo-Capri and while they specialize in real estate, they truly understand the value of location/location/location and know that the location of our Chamber out at the Isthmus on Catalina makes it uniquely qualified to take care of divers in need, and Galileo-Capri wants to make sure we stay strong in that task.
Also at the Platinum level is longtime diver and Chamber supporter Maja Vrvilo. Maja’s been diving in SoCal waters for many years and she knows that sometimes things can go wrong even when you think you’re doing everything right, and she understands why we’ve got to have our Chamber there for us if needed.
We also have a Silver-level donation today from Dale & Kim Sheckler, former owners of California Diving News but still actively involved in our sport and supporting our Chamber’s efforts as well.
