Air Asia had open new flightd from Kualalumpur to brisbane.
then which flights to take to come to cairns?

or which flights to take from europe ( Paris ) to Cairns?

I've heard Emirates through Dubai to KL, then Air Asia flight were the way to go. You should look into that. Not sure about getting from Brisbane to Cairns....

Deals change all the time.
The only way to find a good deal is to look on the web in your own country.
If you do a stop in Sydney, here is a lot of good shore dive to do.

yes, but it seems that flights are cheaper from brisbane to Cairns than Sidney, no???

if not, i would enjoy to spend 2 or 3 days in sydney.

Just a word of caution with Emirates, they are now reported to be not allowing dive gear as "free" baggage.
I'm planning a trip for next year and so far it appears that Quantas are offering a decent deal that includes 2 free internal flights.
