Hi
I just go in from another fanastic expierance!! At least twice a year we have a operation of cleaning the shore line and sea. Our dive club{Putsker} under along with the nature reserve people and a volunteer nature protection group did a cleaning sweep of the shore in Northern Israel. There where two small boats that clean a nature reserve called Achziv and another larger group of divers who cleaned the marina at Nahariya. The diving conditions where excellent, clear water, calm sea. We dove through thousand of small fishes, huge schools of small fish who welcomed us. It was neat see these Hatchet fish so curious to watch what we are doing. In the end of the operation severial tons of garbage was taken out of the sea from tires to fishing nets. It was a lot of fun we all had a good time doing a good thing.
