The only real down side is that it is an older model and dacor doesn't really exist anymore so getting parts or fixing this computer may get harder a bit sooner than with another brand or model. Generally it gets pretty decent marks. For about the same price, i might look to the Aeris Atmos 2. Do a search in the computer section and good luck with whatever you decide on! Welcome to the board!

If you check ebay, you'll find Dacor Darwins selling new for $200 and used ones below that.
So, if you have your heart set on that model, you can save yourself quite a bit of money.
