Do nitrox cylinders need to be inspected annually in the UK I keep finding conflicting views.

My LDS says if it was not Nitrox then every 2 years. But two sites I found imply it’s every 5 years regardless if the cylinder is 02 clean

Example one web site states this: The hydraulic test period has been changed from 4 to 5 years. This has been done mainly to bring it into line with standards for testing other industrial compressed gas cylinders. Similarly visual inspection periods have changed from 2 years to 2½ years after a hydraulic test

In a separate paragraph it states this may not apply to Nitrox users who need an inspection every year.

I would appreciate some clarification.

Many thanks
Peter
