Hi,
My wife just bought a used drysuit. Its in really good shape, but needs a new neck seal. It has the rubber type, not the neoprene type. We called one LDS in town, and they wanted at least $100 to replace it. Does that seem excessive to you?

Thanks,

Darryl

Thanks,
Is there anything I should be checking before getting a new seal? Is there different types. etc?

Darryl

Another suggestion would be to see if someone in the area could show you how to replace the seals yourself. It really is quite an easy job, just takes time is all. I have replaced numerous on my suits, and will continue to do so. The seals are quite cheap, the glue is not that expensive, and instead of using any special rings to hold the suit, improvise. Just a suggestion.
