Hello all.

I will be in Manuel Antonio from 3/6 - 3/11 and would like to try and get in one or two days of diving while there.

I would like to know what dive operators you would recommend there and also within an hours drive. Websites?

What water temps should I expect at this time of year? I do believe this is the dry season, so I am hoping for decent conditions.

Regardless, I have not been wet since right after Thanksgiving, and I am very excited to cross over 200 dives while there. (longest dry spell since I started back in '12)

Any information is appreciated!

Oceans Unlimited is the shop that serves the Quepos/Manuel Antonio area. The owner is an ex-pat, very nice guy. They just moved their base of operations to the Marina in Quepos. Manuel Antonio is on the other side of the hill. They have local trips or they can set you up with another shop a couple hours to the south to dive Caño Island.

not to derail but where did you stay in Manuel Antonio? I just came back from Herradura/Jaco area - diving was sub par in herradura - we drove down to manuel antonio and went to the park for a few hours, looks like a nice area and cool little town

We stayed at a small place, Villa Mymosa. It was nice, I had stayed there once before.

They have an on-site outdoor "restaurant", breakfast included. It is run by different people from last time though and we did not enjoy it (or patronize it) very much this time.

The diving was only so so. But, I did finally get over 200 dives and it was warm water... All in all, not too bad.
