Any good spots for crabbing, I am heading out tomorrow afternoon and just wondering if anyone has been crabbing lately? Any tips would also be appreciated

Cates or Strathcona (lone Rock) are my two choices. I went a few weeks ago but did not get any legal size dungenous. We ended up getting red rocks but they are not as meaty.

...since I was last crabbing in this area, but aroudn the Wreck of the VT100 usually yielded a couple or so.

Also, there is a spot about a kilometer north of Porteau Cove... but it is a very difficult entry (at least where we went).

Red rock crabs may be more work, but they have a sweeter taste to their meat. I prefer their taste, but the Dungeness quantity. I found mixing the two was perfect for my California Rolls. :eyebrow:

once a tickle but now a rash.....oops same topic-wrong forum. my bad
