THIS IS WHACK!! :eyebrow: but great! It is a meadow that apparently floods and everything is still living and great vis. There are even fish and all the flowers are alive. I wonder how this can be.... anyways, enjoy.

That is too cool! Incredibly clear water, I guess from basically being fresh snowmelt. Looks like the diver was wearing a drysuit - I imagine that's also because the water is fresh snowmelt.

Given all the fish, I presume the lake is always there, it just rises a lot in summer? Sounds like another destination to add to my dive wish list...

Any dive ops in the area?

Hi,

there is a small stream running all year, so that's where the fish hide. The flowers are there depending on when the lake starts to rise - the later in the year the more plants have already started to grow when it floods. The water is from the snow melting, it is not rundown but there is a small source at the bottom of the lake (you know where when the water temperature drops even further :) ), this is also the reason for the visibility, becasue the water is filtered. There are no dive shops anywhere near, but the restaurant at the lake can fill tanks.
