Looking at heading to Marmora , to the Crow River.
Anyone have any info on current, & visibility for early May?

Google Maps

Have never been able to get into the mine, lived in Peterborough for 12 years. btw.
There's now a pump-up generation project in the works so don't know if you can get in.

Was at Crow River Marmara last Saturday, dam is open, but water level has dropped about a foot in the last week.
Current is manageable if you're accustomed to river current diving. I'd wait a month if you're a newby to currents.
We'll (my buddy & I) be there this Saturday morning (Apr 30) at 10:00 am.

we're still on for tomorrow (Sat Apr 30) morning 10:00 am at Crow River , Marmara, On

Crow River is in great condition.Only one gate open on the dam, so current is minimal. Just enough to keep debris clear. We dove 38 minutes, max depth 27 ft. Water temp 7°C. It's dark tannin stained water, so visibility is about 15 ft. A few black flies, but no large quantities yet.
