Hi,

I noticed Dr. Powell (Dr. Deco) just posted he is conducting another Decompression Physiology class April 4-5 on Catalina Island at the USC facility near Two Harbors.

Here is the link to the thread with info: http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/shows-events/276126-decompression-physiology-class.html

A few years back group of us got together and attended this class. It was very informative and you do not have to be into technical diving to take it.....Dr Powell covers alot of stuff and it was well worth it. The class is a fund raiser for the USC Chamber on Catalina Island. As an added bonus we got to tour the Catalina Chamber...although I am not sure if that is standard in all the classes.

Logistics are easy since you stay in the dorms at the USC facility and meals are included and served in the cafeteria. You could also take a shore boat to Two Harbors and eat at the restaurant if you chose.

I wanted AZ Divers to know this was being offered.

If you really want to know what deco is all about, I strongly recomend this class, Powell is a great teacher and easy to understand.
