Battle of leyte gulf

Hi Spoon

the wrecks of Leyte Gulf are out of most people's league!! The battleships Yamashiro and Fuso probably lay at about 200m. Add in the huge currents and big waves of Surigao and you'll be blown away.

There is a US destroyer off shore in the Gulf area, not dived yet and as for the escort carriers away from the gulf they're all in the 2500m range!

For good wrecks I'd suggest Subic Bay and Coron. Lots of fun. I see you're a nitrox diver. I'd definitely consider advanced nitrox and decompression procedures as well as the advanced wreck course to get you up to speed,

Cheers

Rick
