I'm looking into getting equipment insurance with DEPP since DAN doesn't cover Alaska. I understand that they will repair or replace the equipment, but what happens if you have vintage gear? For example, my husband's primary regulator is the ScubaPro MKV/109. He's had it for 28 years (but that's for another thread).

Hopefully nothing will ever happen to it. But if it gets stolen what will happen? I have emailed DEPP but I was wondering if this has occurred to any of you and if so how did DEPP handle the replacement?
