Come join us for our 10th Anniversary celebration May 7 - 14, 2011 at Capt.Don's in Bonaire. We have been offering this unique underwater photography course for 10 years, and now it's time to kick up our fins and celebrate a bit. We will continue to offer 3 dives a day, informative lectures and personalized instruction, but now there's even more. We will be offering prizes from our generous sponsors throughout the week. It will not be a photo contest, but rather each student will receive a raffle ticket and prizes will be awarded daily.
This class is designed to help photographers learn the ins and outs of shooting digital cameras underwater. The Drafahls will help with all levels of underwater cameras from point & shoot cameras, to the more sophisticated digital SLR cameras. The activities during the week will include informative lectures, hands-on demonstrations, photo critiques, boat and shore dives, and plenty of time for answers to your questions. Since we want to maximize our diving time, all lectures will be held at 4:30 in the afternoon and additional lab time in the evenings in the roomy air conditioned classroom. Some of the topics to be covered are: digital camera operation, getting a good exposure, image resolution, proper lighting techniques, composition, macro tips, wide angle, white balance, RAW file conversion, image storage, databases, and basic image editing.
