Keeping the thread going...the OMS din/yoke plug system mentioned above. Does anyone know offhand what size allen wrench is needed to remove the plug? My allen key at home doesn't go big enough so I want to buy the right size by don't have the tanks with me.

Thanks

I don't know off hand but I want to say 5mm. I'd have to check when I got home.

[I split this off into a new thread because the old one was three years old]

There are two sizes.
The OMS's that I have are the smaller ones... Thermo uses the lager one. I'll check when I get home & let you know both.

yes, my Dive Rites take 8mm allen wrenches

6mm and 8mm.

All my Thermo valves use 8mm but I have Scubapro valves with inserts in both 6mm and 8mm sizes.

Just as an FYI, the new Thermo valve inserts are a different size from the ones they used last year. I just got two new E7-100's ad the new insert has a smaller diameter center than the older ones I normally use.

Mine are being filled right now or I'd check the size for you.
