I have a YS-90 DX Duo Auto that only fires at one strength regardless of the f/stop setting in manual. I took the plunge and removed the three screws holding the two halves together. No drama, simply three screws holding the two halves where a blue o-ring creates the seal.

So now I need to get to where the switches are so I can confirm everything is attached and functioning properly. In the end I will probably have to condemn the circuit board, but I need to know. I'm willing to buy another unit if I can make one good unit out of two or even three. Has anyone gotten to the switches themselves?

Be careful. Strobes have a very powerful capacitor. If you touch the circuit without grounding the capacitor you could get a very serious shock.
