Dive buddies for Melbourne/Palm Bay area

Hi, my name is Isaac and I just got certified last month, I don't really have any dive friends, I have all my own gear but I am very new and just open water certified. I really want to get into spearfishing as it seems really awesome as well as killing lionfish to help the environment. I know there aren't many dives nearby but being able to carpool or be friends with someone more local even if we travel far to go to dive sites would be nice. Some of the dives I plan on doing are blue heron bridge, blue grotto, ginnie springs and any of the west palm beach area boat dives are nice.

There are lots of people who dive down south, but you have to drive down here. Since you're only OW, I'm willing to buddy up for a BHB dive some time. For charters, you'd need to get your AOW and Nitrox.
