New GEN 2 DiveCaddy: The ultimate dive equipment luggage. "The smartest dive bag system on the planet" This is a carry on the plane system, that will allow you to carry all your necessary dive gear with you. Now when you arrive at that destination, pull out the Destination Bag and place your gear into it and carry it all to the boat or shore.I have used DiveCaddy for adventures to Florida, Bonaire, Curacao, Live aboard to St. Croix, Mexico and more and have had no problems with TSA nor with stowing the bag into the overhead on the plane. On several occasions the TSA have asked to inspect the bag, I simply unrolled it and after they checked, just rolled it back up, secured the buckles and with the bag on my back walked onto the plane and stowed it in the overhead.
When I say everything (but your dive knife) I mean every thing. Here is a list of items I have packed:
Swimming suit, T-shirt, rash guard, Micro fiber towel, 4XL 3mm wetsuit, hood, booties, Scuba Pro twin jet fins, air delivery system with dive computer, Ultra Lite BC,( I have also packed a 2XL Pro QD BC with no problem). In the Turtle pack I had - tooth brush, Dive light, mask, snorkel, iPod, Noise limiting headphones, Olympus camera and U/W housing, small log book. I had room for more...
