A buddy and myself were looking for a listing or forum of inland lakes with good visibility near us and came up with an idea for a site.

http://www.freshwaterdive.org

It's basically just a forum listing for each state where divers can post reviews for lakes they have visited noting the lakes qualities (or lack of) in the post. Please feel free to sign up and add any lakes you have visited that you think would make a good addition to this list. Thanks!

Joe

Great idea, Joe. You might come up with some standards for rating - like depth, visibility, average temperature, marine life, other things to see, etc. It would also be nice if a thread-starter for a particular lake would post a yahoo or google map of the location as well.

Yea I think the other admins are working on standard ratings for the thread subjects, and I like the google maps idea, we'll have to use that.
