A new buddy and I launched my boat in Salisbury and headed out to the area I had done well at in the past. Waves were less than a foot but there were big rollers which made gearing up harder than it should have been. Went down anchor line and found 2' viz and lots of surge. We tried hunting for a little while and I got 3 but it was tough. We moved closer to shore for the second dive and had 5' vis. I got 7 more in spite of the conditions which was very unexpected. My buddy was new to lobstering so didn't do as well but the bounty was shared and both families dined on delicious shellfish. Water was 54°. The boat ran great and we had a wonderful day.
