I'm replacing one of my reels with one of Dive Rite's primaries. I came across one with a "reel drag"...nothing more than a metal disk (like a quarter) with a tube attached (imagine a 9mm casing sitting on a quarter) that inserts into the spool's axle bushing. This assembly replaces the nylon bushing that normally sits next to the reel frame.

Does anyone have one or used one that can comment on it?

Thank you.
